Trademark redesign for a romanian distribution company / 2010

One of our longest trademark (re)design processes. It took longer than expected with lots of client discussions too (no coffee included and via telephone).

“The father of one of my dearest friends owns this company so it is no surprise how we ended up doing and redoing their trademark. As we started the project we thought that it will be an easy and fun job and by the end of the first week we will probably finish at least 80 percent of it. But sooner we found out that this will be a very long and hard journey, especially that of making the client happy. After all he started this company in 1991, in a time where in Romania you could still see hooligan gangs at mid-day walking the central streets of every major city. Not to mention that i was still in kindergarden at that time. So it was major and we had to play it good. So there is no wonder that we worked over 2 months on this one with lots of revisions and tweaks. We managed to finish it after all the back and forth revisions and bellow you can see the final trademark that pleased everybody: my friends father for having something nice to replace the old and unDesigned logo, me as i could focus myself on other things than the word DUO, and my friend for being a subject of change in his father`s bussiness.”
